Edgy occurs when middlebrow, middle-age profiteers are looking to suck the energy, not to mention spending money, out of the quote, onquote youth culture, so they come up with this fake concept of seeming to be dangerous, when every move they make is the result of market research and a corporate masterplan.
If you assume that God forgives you, then it’s gone, right? Erased?
Forgiveness.
You must consecrate the sin. Make it benign. Bad becomes good. Pain becomes pleasure. And doesn’t that mean, if you really become one with God, you can never do wrong?
Well, no, um, not really, because that would, uh… that would more than imply that we’re all perfect.
